International Adoption Information Night

Interested in adopting internationally? Then we invite you to attend our free international adoption information night on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at 7pm at Calvary Church in Grand Rapids, MI. You’ll be able to learn about our adoption programs, meet families with children home, and have all of your adoption questions answered.

Hague Convention Update

Have you heard of the “Hague Convention,” and are you wondering how it will affect your international adoption? The Hague Convention includes regulations that every international adoption agency will need to be in compliance with by December 2007, and AAI is working steadily to ensure that our agency will meet these guidelines.

Guatemala Adoption Program Update

Adoption Associates, Inc. has been closely monitoring the current statements by the U.S. State Department, the Guatemalan President, the National Council for Adoption, the Joint Council on International Children’s Services, the Asociacion Defensores de La Adopcion (ADA), and the media regarding the future of Guatemalan adoptions. While our program remains open, we are cautioning families considering adopting from Guatemala at this time.
